From my experience and knowledge gained from the teachers who have guided my steps, I know that increased awareness leads to happiness, enhances leadership and increases the competitiveness of organisations. In the same way, increased awareness has a positive impact on philanthropy, one of my major professional specialities.

Responsible for all aspects of governmental affairs, competition law and international trade all over the world, led different legal and lobbying teams at the EU and member state levels. Reporting to the CEO, drove the company’s policy agenda and lobbying strategy at the WTO, the OECD, the Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue (TABD), the Mercosur European Union Business Forum (MEBF), the European Commission & Parliament and at member state level. Served in a high-level strategic corporate role in two large and complex mergers: Arcelor (2001) and ArcelorMittal (2006) in Luxembourg.

  • Expert in designing a new corporate social responsibility department and a global foundation in 30 countries, based on the principles of cooperating with surrounding communities. Designed and delivered entire entity within nine months including: vision, mission, areas of activity, criteria to choose projects, staff hiring all over the world, communication strategy, KPIs, etc.
  • Expert in global/local employee engagement programmes, believing in corporate volunteer work as one of the tools to create “a true sense of belonging” in companies. Several programmes created and successfully implemented all over the world, enhancing ArcelorMittals’s reputation.
  • Managed annual budgets in the range of $40,000,0000 - $60,000,000 and coordinated 90 coworkers (direct reports, indirect reports and consultants).
  • Supported and successfully executed more than 2,500 projects in 30 countries, obtaining different prizes all over the world.
  • Received eight years of clean financial statements, with no disputes; obtained the clearance in audits.
  • Audits successfully passed over eight years, showing the highest degree of transparency.

I cooperate in different fora which foster conscious increase, women & young empowerment, happiness, understanding, etc. as the University of Granada, the Encounter of Human Values (Mexico), the I Forum·“Mujeres que marcan” (Women who leave a trace behind) in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), etc. I work with people who wish to increase their consciousness level, raising then their happiness level and transforming the organizations where they work. When we improve the relationship with ourselves, we improve our deep understanding of the events that happen around us, etc. Empathy flows through consciousness creating wellbeing, happiness and professional evolution.

Courses

After several years' experience putting together training programmes, I have devised various high-impact courses for (operational and executive) managers. There, we analyze their usual work dynamics and the relationships within the company/organization where they are spending their professional life.


The courses can be online or face-to-face. In both cases, the emotional part prevails over the rational, leading to a high level of involvement of all participants. Conference 1   Take the control of your life. From consciousness to happiness

We have been believing for thousands of years that we will be happy when everything outside is as we wish it to be. We live in a hamster wheel from which it is not easy to get out, however, happiness is outside that wheel.

There is an equation which says that level of consciousness = level of happiness. I propose to reach a high level of consciousness through a change in the way we think, first, and then a change in our behavior as a consequence.

I have created the concept of “Conscious Philanthropy” believing that philanthropy needs to undergo a profound change to promote human beings' inward journey to find happiness, rather than the usual outward journey. We need to change the one-way flow of financial resources into conscious philanthropy, awakening our noblest capacities, which is in our own interest and in the interest of the human beings around us.

 

It is intended for philanthropists who—through their foundations—want to work inside themselves and find out the real motives which move them in their lives and find the real mission they have. It goes beyond making donations for a cause. Conscious philanthropy achieves its meaning when a philanthropist finds his/her real life purpose, the mission nobody but he/she can carry out.

Intended for CEOs who want to build CSR from consciousness. We need to know the communities where we want to work, forging bonds between their inhabitants and the companies.
